About Kerri Brewer

Short story - I'm mostly, but not exclusively, a photographer. I do creative work and problem solving with good people, usually, but not always, food related, both in media and in consumer facing hospitality. Long story - I'm a freelance creative based in Brooklyn. I have over 15 years experience in New York City working in food and lifestyle, with a range of clients from start-ups to high profile brands. Over the span of my career I have worked as a photographer, a consultant, a creative director, and owned and operated a restaurant. My work has been seen in all kinds of print and online publications, and used in numerous ad campaigns, and several cookbooks. But also, I have launched companies, and consulted on projects (most notably for NYT Cooking) from space design, to recipe development, to branding, and new food concepts. At my base, I am a problem solver, whether that be in the world of visual imagery, or just getting things done. Most often my work involves thinking creatively about food, but I lend my expertise to many other projects. I work collaboratively with clients over the lifecycle of projects to bring their ideas to fruition. In short, I have a breadth of experience in consulting, commercial photography, and also in food and business, which gives me a unique combination of skills to bring to most any project. I love developing relationships with clients that span years. I have spent my life loving food and travel, and well, all the good things, and sharing them. Outside of work, I most always have my hands in clay, or adventuring with my Dalmatian pup. I truly believe an evening is best passed around a shared table, and can’t wait to join you at one.
