About Kerri Tyerman

A Project Manager with proven experience in highway, roadway and rail projects. Accomplished in the development of concept development reports, preliminary and final designs, and construction support of highway design projects for NJDOT and other agencies. Through her continuous assignments on successful projects, Kerri has become thoroughly familiar with the most current standards and procedures. Department Manager for the 28 person Transportation Department at HNTB's New Jersey branch which includes the work areas of civil, highway, and traffic engineering. Responsible for the day to day oversight of staff, providing technical guidance and assistance, and coordinating with other departments. Also responsible for business development including marketing, identifying pursuits, and preparation of proposals. In addition to managing projects, Kerri commits her time to many professional societies for the advancement of the engineering practice. Kerri is a member of ASCE and has served as the President of the ASCE North Branch and was named the Civil Engineer of the Year for 2018. Also serves as an active member of WTS, serving as the committee chair for the NJ Events committee in 2015 and currently as Treasurer for WTS NJ.
