About Kerrin Ford

A priority of my work, be it teaching, research, or clinical practice, is promoting well-being and personal development by highlighting strengths and skill development. As a tertiary educator, I strive to bring evidence-based, engaging learning where students explore psychology, behavioral theories, research methods, and exercise psychology. In my PhD research at Victoria University, I’m diving into how physical activity supports mental health and investigating the evolving role of psychologists in promoting it. As a psychologist, I support clients through challenges like anxiety, depression, confidence issues, relationships, and injury recovery. My approach is two-fold: building a therapeutic relationship based on trust and personalizing therapy to align with each client’s unique context, strengths, and goals. Whether it's CBT, mindfulness, ACT, or something else, I believe in working holistically to foster meaningful and lasting change.
