WHAT I DO: I help businesses and government departments grow their team’s knowledge and skill base with practical, relevant elearning that reduces training costs and time, and delivers greater accessibility to learning with higher knowledge retention. I live to create exciting, informative, relevant, and engaging learning resources that don't feel like work; learning that isn't a box checking exercise but an experience that enhances performance. As I am based in New Plymouth, I have extensive experience working remotely and travel regularly for work. WHO I WORK WITH: I partner with several learning development companies to create elearning and hardcopy resources, including Inspire Group, Complete Learning and Creative Leap. Through them, I have developed learning for government departments, including: • New Zealand Trade and Enterprise • Ministry of Social Development • Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment • New Zealand Customs • New Zealand Transport Authority As well as companies, such as: • Mitre 10 • Repco • BRANZ • Coca-Cola Amatil • Stihl NZ • Wood Group NZ On topics from induction training, product familiarisation and new software use, to health and safety, company policies, networking/soft skill development and legislation changes. WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT: With more than 10 years’ experience, I deliver a wealth of practical learning development knowledge. As a one-woman band I do everything myself, so you receive the total of my time, focus and attention. I am fair, up front and genuinely love what I do. I believe that a truly collaborative relationship with you AND your team is the only way to create relatable, relevant learning that will ‘hit home’ and make a difference. I can help you: • create clear, easy to understand and use elearning that is targeted at all levels of your learners • design learning pathways that help you reach your learning goals • develop learning that caters to multiple learning styles, so no team member is left behind • develop content for your learning management, website or hardcopy resources HOW IT WORKS: We begin the process with a free 45-minute consultation so that you can meet me and, together, start to assess your learning needs. As I’m in New Plymouth, I travel to Taranaki-based businesses or, for those further afield, organise a video call. On moving forward, we then develop a clear plan for the design, development, review and implementation of their learning.
