Background
About Kerry Duperval
I am currently a senior at John Jay College having previously studied at LaGuardia Community College. My area of study has deviated from Criminal Justice due to a recent change of interests, I am currently studying Philosophy and minoring in psychology, in pursuit of a Bachelors of the Arts degree. The cohesion of open-mindedness from philosophy has allowed me to grow a passion for posing questions to subjects, theories, and ideas that are seldom contemplated by those who have lived by habitual beliefs due to epistemic injustices. The main focus of philosophy is the study of logic and a new understanding of English comprehension through evaluating the validity of statements. After graduating from John Jay, I intend to apply for law school. I envision teaching law in a classroom setting in the future or practicing the law as a defense attorney.
