I am a registered nurse with a specialist focus in paediatric intensive care and clinical research, having led complex studies across international, multi-centre randomised controlled trials. As Co-Director of the Australia and New Zealand Congenital Outcomes Registry for Surgery (ANZCORS), I am privileged to help lead a registry that is transforming outcomes for children undergoing cardiac surgery through collaborative, data-driven research. In my role as Research Manager for Queensland Paediatric Cardiac Services at Queensland Children’s Hospital, I work at the intersection of clinical care, research strategy, and stakeholder collaboration to improve outcomes for children and families. I am also an Honorary Fellow at the University of Queensland, where my work supports the translation of research into practice. My research contributions—published in leading journals including JAMA and BMJ reflect a commitment to advancing healthcare through rigorous evidence and ethical practice. In parallel with my research career, I am the Founder and Owner of Joy By Nature, a boutique cosmetic clinic in Highgate Hill. Here, I combine clinical precision with aesthetic artistry, delivering evidence-based skin and wellness treatments with care and integrity. As an Aesthetic Nurse, I stay at the forefront of technology and clinical practice to offer personalised treatments that prioritise skin health and empower confidence.
