About Kerry Kurowski

I’m a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) with over ten years of experience in association management. I’m motivated by bringing people together to share ideas and strengthen relationships. Incorporating some of my quirky ideas provides an element of risk to keeps things interesting and fresh in meetings. Shaking things up a bit, not too much, gets people receptive to experiencing something new. I strive to build programs constructed of timely topics and useful education which feature memorable experiences. I am really good at refining existing ideas and adapting them into different environments. No event is ready to go without my cup of tea with half a sugar and milk, a stash of dark chocolate, and comfy shoes. I will travel for good food. Eating my way through a city with plenty of long walks is a favorite pastime of mine. I like to poke my head into historic hotels, theaters and bars with historical glamour, with a bit of people watching thrown in. Being a stranger in new places expands my world view, builds my tolerance, humbles me, and makes me a better, more patient host to visitors at home. In 2021, I was elected to the Board of Directors of the LGBT Meeting Planners Association, which informs my passion for diversity and inclusion. In 2024, I was honored to speak in two sessions at IMEX Frankfurt.
