About Kerry Lynn Mitchell

As a Business Consultant and a Nationally Certified Dementia Practitioner, I have over 10 years of experience in helping people improve their cognitive health and quality of life. I am currently training to become a Certified Brain Coach at Brain Academy, where I am learning how to apply neuroplasticity principles to enhance brain function and wellness. I am also the founder of A Work in Progress, a company that provides cognitive health counseling for groups, families and individuals, as well as education and advocacy for prevention, early intervention and support for those affected by cognitive impairment and dementia. My core competencies include developing and initiating programs based on a deep understanding of each client's need, providing clinical training and support for internal and external teams, creating content and strategies for sustainable growth, and building long-term relationships with partners and customers. I have a proven track record of nurturing partnerships and creating long-term value for organizations such as Cognivue, where I was the Director of Field Training and developed clinical training programs, protocols and resources for internal teams and customers alike. I am passionate about coaching, counseling and team building, and I have a powerful, high-energy public speaking style with excellent presentation skills and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. I am self-motivated, goal-oriented, and entrepreneurial, with a can-do spirit and a strong desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
