Current Magnet Program Director for a large 600+ hospital in the metro Atlanta area on their initial Magnet designation journey. Responsible for implementing strategies to build a culture where teams are autonomous, including initiating and sustaining professional governance structures. Serves as program manager for Magnet journey, including managing document writing, writing team, and culture components. I am passionate about building cultures of excellence where nurses thrive, apply and contribute to evidence-based practice, and are empowered to drive high quality patient outcomes. Experienced Registered Nurse with a demonstrated history of working in the health care industry. Clinical experience includes working with the Oncology, Palliative Care and Critical Care patient populations. Strong healthcare leader and systems thinker with a Master’s Degree focused in the Clinical Nurse Leader role from the University of Rochester.
