About Kerry Mitchell

Currently, I am the Quality Manager for the B&B Contracting Group, bringing over 15 years of experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance within the civil infrastructure construction industry. Since starting my career in 2007 as a materials tester I have progressively advanced through technician, inspector, and managerial roles to my current leadership position. My background includes a wide range of civil infrastructure projects—from major government highway upgrades to municipal infrastructure and local improvement works—across British Columbia and beyond. As a Quality Manager, I work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, materials testing agencies, and project stakeholders to ensure that quality standards and deliverables are met. I am responsible for reviewing all material test results on B&B’s projects and plays a key role in ensuring compliance with project specifications and to bring projects to a close. I have has successfully implemented and executed ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, facilitated internal and external audits, and overseen the preparation and approval of quality records and inspection test plans for project closeout. My commitment to transparency, open communication, and relationship-building with owners and project managers has contributed to the successful delivery of complex projects, including the Port Mann/Highway 1, Sea to Sky Highway Improvement, and Pointe Du Bois Spillway Replacement projects as well as hundreds of local municipal and developer driven projects.
