About Kerry Odonnell

I'm an experienced creative professional, recent graduate of Georgetown University, and current Master's candidate in Museum & Heritage Studies at the University of St. Andrews. Coming from an extensive communications, nonprofit, and digital marketing background, I'm looking to bridge my skills with my passion for making GLAM (Gallery, Library, Archive, and Museum) spaces more accessible for all. With the help of organizational sponsors, I've been able to combine my knack for unearthing forgotten histories with community advocacy projects: I've collected and publicized oral histories ranging from displaced Gulf of Maine islanders to survivors of genocide living in Paris; I've created a public archive for queer Georgetown students to catalog their experiences; and I've coordinated one of the first graduation ceremonies for a campus' disability community in the U.S. Excited to apply my skills at such a transformative time in the heritage sector!
