About Kerry Peetz

Systems-thinking problem-solver creating learning experiences that transform people. One of my superpowers is rapidly learning and retaining encyclopedic knowledge of a huge variety of topics from adult learning best practices to tech specs and data mining to Gregorian chant. This gives me excellent lateral and analogical problem-solving skills. I excel at targeting missing pieces, whether it means planning leadership training sessions for new leaders at FOCUS, winning faculty over to new online tools, or building a cross-functional team to get a job done. I've collaborated with a team to design more than 300 learner-focused hours of in-person training, and worked solo and with others to design more than 40 hours of asynchronous ongoing development. As part of the COVID-19 response team, I designed our fall and winter return-to-campus training for community members. I'm currently learning about service design, UX strategy, the history of western choral music, and watercolor texture techniques. Also working hard to reach my goal of 3500 miles on my bike in 2022!
