About Kerry Solomon

Recent graduate of the Master of International Public Policy (MIPP) program at the Balsillie School of International Affairs, I earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in Political Science from Western University, and a Law Clerk Diploma from Fanshawe College. During my time at Western, I was involved in a number of organizations - volunteering at the Western Pride Library, and planting trees with Reforest London. Following my studies at Western and Fanshawe, I worked as a law clerk in a variety of areas including civil litigation, municipal, and family law. Throughout all of my academic and professional experiences, my interests have focused on international environmental concerns, human rights, and health. Most recently, I worked as a Graduate Fellow with the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI)- conducting research focused on global health, currency volatility and its impacts on international funding for HIV and AIDS. This work resulted in a policy brief that was presented to Global Affairs Canada in June 2017. Moving forward, I aim to leverage my interdisciplinary academic background and skills gained through previous professional experience in a policy-related role.
