About Kerry Spinks

Ms. Spinks has a long history of working on political transition, post-conflict peacebuilding, and conflict mitigation related programs, with expertise in group facilitation, organizational development, new business, program management, and community mobilization. Her consulting work focused largely on adaptive management, conflict sensitivity, and supporting an organization to operationalize the humanitarian-development-peace nexus. Prior to becoming a consultant, Ms. Spinks managed USAID/Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) programs internationally, valued up to $110M, from proposal to closeout. Her new business expertise includes strategic planning, writing, reviewing, and leading proposal initiatives. Ms. Spinks also spent four years mobilizing her own community to take political action at the local, state, and federal levels. She consistently enjoys an excellent rapport with clients and colleagues, and is adept at managing complex, fast-paced, high-stress environments. Her relevant international experience includes Côte d’Ivoire, Israel, Northern Ireland, Palestine, South Sudan, and Sudan.
