About Kerry Vance

Having started out in support roles in the legal field while I studied law, I’ve not taken the most linear path to my career, but it’s a path that’s given me great perspective moving into Higher Education and Further Education. Being a huge geek, when something catches my interest I immerse myself in it until I’ve learned everything I can about it, whether that’s a new (to me) methodology, a hot topic in the news or my favourite metal band (yes really!) and work is no different. When I’m not working I’m learning how to work better and gaining the knowledge and qualifications to go with it. Juggling is what I do best. Keeping up with a teen and a tween is a master class in project management and I love having a full day that looks nothing like the one before - having a mix of work and school meetings, creating project plans, driving across the spectacular landscape to another campus, studying for exams or even a surprise afternoon as a photographer’s assistant is all possible over the course of my week! The real buzz though, is knowing that I’m helping to deliver something meaningful in the real world that’ll have a lasting impact long after the project has closed.
