About Kerry Waananen

Hey, I'm Kerry. When I was a boy I wanted to create stories that people could play – somehow I got lost along the way and found myself in esports. that year I spent in China really changed me. I joined Paper Crowns to realize the stories that brands want to tell, sometimes with a gaming twist but mostly with a grinder's touch with brands to the gaming audience.(Sure, we can do something in Fortnite but I think we can do something bigger.) I've boosted brands like Pringles, AB InBev, Logitech G, SNK & Carrefour in gaming relevance with creative experiences, fun marketing & anti-cringe comms direction. You wouldn't believe how woefully underprepared some brand managers are when we dive into sentiment analysis of brainrot YouTube comments. I've done this through influencer marketing, communication guidelines, web/product copywriting, pitching, PR, campaign development and sorting through the data (thanks AI) to put strategies behind it all. I'm obsessed with telling a good story, I speak three languages and I accept any spicy food eating challenge. Hit my line if you're looking for someone knows what will bang when he sees it and can reverse engineer the brief that got it there.
