About Kerry Whiting

I have an innate passion for advantaging young people to have equal opportunities to others. To provide social interest allows our young people to feel self-empowerment, boost self-esteem and social belonging. Which helps to guide our young people confidently into their futures.I strive to be the person my younger self needed, as it’s the people who strived to help me as a young person who made the pathway to my happiness successes now. My Psychology and Criminology BsC (Hons) complements my skills and experience of working with people. Utilising these skills and knowledge to provide people the foundations to climb their hierarchy of need, meeting their potential and aspirations.Presently employed to provide all-encompassing life skills support to the care experienced, who are learning to live independently at 18+ years old. Prior to this I had volunteered as a Youth Justice Panel Member, which promotes social belonging in young people and seeks to include them in society and benefit both young persons and the public. I have some British Sign Language skills, I have First Aid and Forest School First Aid certificates. I was a finalist in Youth Matters Awards.
