Kerry Williams DUniv, FIEAust, EngExec, CPEng, NER, RPEQ, APEC Engineer IntPE(Aust), PMP, AFAIM, JP(Qual) is the Director - Principal Engineer at K-BIK Power Pty Ltd. K-BIK Power is a company set up to service the Electrical industry with consulting services and specialising in: • Substation Asset Management (zone, transmission and distribution substations) • Condition Monitoring Applications and Analysis • Factory Audits, Inspections & Acceptance Testing for HV electrical equipment • Root Cause Analysis, Failure & Forensic Investigations • Substation Plant Refurbishment & Replacement Analysis • Asset Strategy, Processes Procedures & Work Instructions • Substation Projects, Design and substation Risk Management Kerry has worked in the power industry since 1975 and has been able to develop an extensive background in asset management specialising in the whole of life management of high voltage electrical assets. He has had experiences in substation and transformer design, manufacturing, refurbishment and maintenance. Kerry has been responsible for innovation, development and implementation of new technologies and plant into Power Utilities. He has been responsible for teams of professional engineers who manage the transmission and distribution substation assets within Australian Power Utilities. Kerry completed a Master of Power Systems at University of Southern Qld, he has a degree in Electrical Engineering (Power), certification as a Project Management Professional, is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and Member of Engineers Australia and and the Asset Management Council. He is the author of a number of engineering papers on subjects such as mobile substations, condition monitoring techniques, switchgear failures and applications, and modular systems for substation maintenance and network support. He is a man who is passionate about what he does and always looking to improve and add value to everything in which he is involved.
