I am a Team Lead, Facility Manager & Business Manager with substantial experience in operational planning, budget management, quality assurance and personnel supervision. Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my ability to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability by crafting creative solutions to new challenges and building winning environments that encourage staff engagement, collaboration and satisfaction. I am a proactive change agent and a hands-on leader who actively models customer service and organizational integrity in every interaction. I offer a distinguished military career, having served in the US Air Force since 1995 in progressive operational leadership roles. In my current role of Technical Sgt./Facility Manager, I manage a fast paced dining facility at the Joint Base Langley, leading a team of 7 in serving up to 3K daily meals from breakfast through dinner. In addition leading daily operations, I consistently manage special assignments, such as the execution of a complex 21 day living compound for the Langley Transition Center/Ebola Control Monitoring Area, and the sustainment of Joint Base Langley/Eustis runway operations enabling over 10K missions. I was hand selected as Control Monitor Area Mayor Cell, the US Air Force’s first site set-up/home to 90 re-deployers, and I earned 7 consecutive "Excellent" PH ratings based on my facility sanitation standards and practices. In prior Air Force roles, I have served 3 times overseas as a Food Service Accountant (non-appropriated funds/revenue generating), and as Fitness Director in Izmir, Turkey, the highest positions for each respective field. My broad background also includes experience as a Food Business Manager, Emergency Support Function Representative, Honor Guard Manager, Guest Services Supervisor, Storeroom Manager & Safety Representative, among other titles. I have earned multiple awards and commendations and I am projected to be honorably discharged this August.
