About Keshia Smith

Keshia Smith graduated from New York University's Tisch School(2014) of the Arts where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting/Theatre. During her undergraduate career, she studied in the Meisner Studio under the direction of Vicki Hart before transferring to StoneStreet Conservatory where she studied film acting, voice over and on-camera techniques. In 2011 she took her academics across the pond and studied at the University of London. There she took extensive 19th century English Literature Classes while still managing to travel to a different country every weekend. Smith completed her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at The Johns Hopkins University(2019). Her primary focus is working with children and teens ages 5-13 years of age. Smith takes an eclectic integrative approach to counseling and interweaves her previous acting training into sessions. She often uses bibliotherapy, drawing, role play, and creative art in her sessions with Clients. She is an avid reader and science fiction/horror movie fan.
