About Keshonna Cooper

With over 20 years of experience in compliance and risk management, I am passionate about helping organizations protect their customers, data, and assets from legal and reputational risks, as well as cyber threats. I am motivated by the mission and culture of organizations, and I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to teams. As a Director, I leveraged my expertise in government regulations to lead strategic advisory services for multiple federal engagements, and advised executive management on policies through advocacy activities. I acted as the primary liaison with federal agencies to support the validation and resolution of issues from Capital One's 2019 cybersecurity event through the implementation of necessary improvements, leading to the successful termination of the OCC's enforcement action and the Federal Reserve Board's action in 2022 and 2023. I also assist legal, government, and policy affairs groups participating in policy development and industry collaboration related to regulatory matters impacting cybersecurity and technology. Additionally, I use my analytical skills and process improvement knowledge to enhance problem management and continuous improvement, employing certifications including CDPSE, CRISC, CISA, and CRMA.
