Background
About Keva Clark
I am the developer and instructor of many training curriculums. My career accomplishments include creating a Leadership Development Training Academy. Parents and professionals are provided a menu of training curriculums that enhance their knowledge base regarding children with special education and trauma informed care needs. My experiences also include being a Local Agency Trainer for Iowa State University’s Strengthening Families Program 10-14. As of today, there are 21 trainers on my team who are certified to implement SFP within their agencies here in Saginaw County. My educational accomplishments include a Masters of Education and School Administration. My work has been published as a Co-Author of the Family Road Map Training Curriculum, which can be found on Amazon.com and The Family Road Map has trained agencies to facilitate the curriculum throughout the United States of America. Additionally, Part of my role with Saginaw County Mental Health Authority is being a Supports Coordinator. I assist in engaging individuals and their families in the development of plans that assure the needs and wishes are addressed and life opportunities expanded. Supports Coordinators assist in the choice of services and supports, coordinate the provision of services and supports, and monitor the delivery of services and supports. I also oversee incoming Trauma-Informed Care Trainers that include school professionals, Clinicians, and Case Managers. Since September 2015, over 600 hundred participants have been trained in the “How Does Trauma Effect Children” curriculum. I was recently requested to partner with the State agency, Saginaw County Department of Human and Health Services to train professionals on Secondary Traumatic Stress: “How to Identify Compassion Fatigue in Your Staff”. I am very proud to have played a major role in making fundamental changes that assisted in the educational process and enrichment of lives professionally.
