About Kevan Citta

Ms. Citta attended the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana where she graduated in 2008 with a degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She graduated from DePaul University in 2011 with a Masters degree in Nursing. As of August of 2018, Ms. Citta started her MBA program at the University of Illinois-Chicago, Management concentration. In March of 2015, Ms. Citta became the Manager of Surgical Services over the Operating Room, Recovery Room and Sterile Processing. During her time as a Manager, she helped to improve patient satisfaction from the 40th percentile to the 90th percentile, improve communication between the Ambulatory Unit and Surgical Services, and decreased turnover times in the Operating Room. She helped to lead the Hospital to receive COEMIG (Center of Excellence In Minimally Invasive Surgery) in September of 2015; only 1 of 4 COEMIG hospitals in the State of Illinois. In July of 2016, Ms. Citta left Presence Health to become a Genesis Trainer at Intuitive Surgical. Since joining Intuitive Surgical, she has helped hospitals to work towards goals for their Robotic Surgery program - including block schedule analyses, lean initiatives for inventory and standardization. In addition to consulting, she trains Operating Room staff in DaVinci technology.
