About Kevin Andersen

I have enjoyed over 24 years in the Energy/Renewables business. I acquired my degree in Energy Management and Solar Construction in 1980. I began my career working for a local utility upon graduation. The next 16 years was spent working for utilities and consulting firms as an analyst, project manager and consultant. After a family tragedy in 1996, I began working in a family business, and eventually started my own business in Palm Springs California for 9 years. I relocated to the mountains near Yosemite in 2009 and shortly thereafter began working back in the Energy business. I worked in residential solar for 3 years, until I was hired as a Commercial Solar Site Superintendent. I have experience in construction of virtually type of Commercial Solar system, including ground mount systems, tracking systems (3 different manufacturers), rooftop systems and canopies. I have managed the construction of over 40 projects, all in the 1MW - 10MW range. I am a proven problem solver and love my work.
