About Kevin Annis

Graduated from The John Marshall Law School June of 2016 and licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. At The John Marshall Law School I have enjoyed many opportunities to work with Clinics. I worked with the Mediation Clinic and the Pro Bono Clinic respectively. In the Mediation Clinic I represented clients in foreclosure meditations. Following my time representing clients I then became a certified mediator. I completed a 60 hour training at the Center for Conflict Resolution. Following the completion of the training I mediated several cases at the Richard J. Daley Center in Chicago, IL. At the Pro Bono Clinic I lead a group of 6 law students, under the supervision of lawyers, try a section 1983 federal law suit in Peoria, IL. I gave the opening statement, completed the direct examination of our lead witness. As well as helping to make sure the rest of the team was prepared for trial. I enjoyed many activities around St. Ambrose including Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter, Residence Life, Student Government Association and Campus Ministry. I take pride in every activity I take part in on campus and off campus. Meeting new people and fostering relationships with everyone I meet is extremely important. Through my time with Habitat for Humanity I enjoyed the opportunity of leading students to South Carolina for a Collegiate Challenge trip.
