Leadership: Co-Chair of RMIT Circular Economy Hub 2023, Chair of College Gender Equity & Inclusion Reference Group - Leadership and Governance 2022-23, Co-Lead of CRC Food Waste - Reduce Grant Project 2023-24 With extensive experience, I bridge the gap between innovation, design, marketing and sustainability fields. Industry collaborations have gained significant impact and awards, including Social Procurement of the Year Award (2020) with Shared Value Partners, Ability Works, Transurban, Aurecon, and Apricot. I am co-leading an industry project as part of the Fight Food Waste (Reduce) CRC. I am also co-designing with a Sports Science Academy in Silicon Valley, to establish embedded PhD research projects in Marketing, on Customer Success Management. Industry Engagement - I lead industry engagement within the Graduate School of Business and Law - we engage industry and government to create shared value for all stakeholders. This includes in-class projects (design innovative ideas), academic research (enabling rigorous experimentation and storytelling with impact to showcase innovation in industry) and consulting practices (where expert academics provide independent evaluation and recommendations on specific industry projects). Circular Economy - Our RMIT Circular Economy Hub is focused on designing human-centred approaches to the circular economy. We work with multiple stakeholders to design desirable, feasible and viable circular economy business opportunities. Food Waste CRC Reduce - Partnership with Gander, Metcash and IGA in delivering revenue positive outcomes for food waste reduction for food retailers, their customers and suppliers. Shared value - Research informing social impact measurement, through embedded supply chain partnerships, for meaningful employment for indigenous, women and disability workers within Social Procurement Policy. My PhD involved an ARC Linkage Grant with elite sport league(s), exploring how sport consumers develop loyalty, as participants early in life and/or later as members of league clubs.
