With over 30 years in medical device sales and leadership, I've built my career on one fundamental passion: transforming talented individuals into exceptional teams. My journey began at Johnson & Johnson's Ethicon Division, where a decade of world-class training and multiple positions laid the foundation for my future success. The entrepreneurial spark ignited when I joined Boston Scientific's startup division, Cymed, launching their innovative cardiac stent program. Inspired by former colleagues achieving remarkable exits in the startup world, I ventured into the startup ecosystem myself, leading 7 different ventures over 15 years, including Minerva Surgical. Throughout my career transitions—from sales to management, from product direction to marketing—one constant has remained: my dedication to building high-performing teams. I've found particular joy in identifying talent from diverse backgrounds, whether they're selling cell phones or copiers, and guiding them through the intricacies of medical device sales. Nothing compares to watching someone I've mentored take the stage at a national sales meeting, accepting awards for their achievements. While many are drawn to medical devices for financial rewards, I'm driven by the transformative moments: seeing a hesitant new hire evolve into a confident closer, watching team members exceed their own expectations, and celebrating their successes. This passion for people development led me to my current role at Sales Manager Now, where I apply my expertise across various industries and technologies. My approach combines strategic team building with practical skill development. I believe in creating an environment where individuals can thrive, learn, and surpass their own expectations.
