About Kevin Birss

I am currently in a position leading the development and execution of the Partner/Channel strategy for Poly Canada. I have held that position for 9 years. During that time, I have over-achieved on plan for all years and have received awards 3 times including most recently being awarded a place at CEO Circle as the top Channel Performer in the Americas. I have been involved in all aspects of Channel sales and operations including the management of tier 2 Partners and distributors. The landscape of channels and partners includes large telecommunications companies, large system integrators, DMRs as well as smaller channels focused on the SMB market segments. My most recent focus was in the area of Unified Communication Partner development where I spent time working with Gold Microsoft Partners to develop business models which included Microsoft Skype for Business and Polycom technologies. In my past, I have had experience in telecommunications, professional services and technology sales. I have had over 20 years of leadership experience in the IT Industry including 8 years as a Senior Leader at IBM Canada where I managed network hardware and services sales focused on the Financial Services industry. The breadth of my experience includes sales, general management, professional services, telecommunications, outsourcing, managed services and consulting.
