As the Director of Applications Support and Development at Eliot Community Human Services, I have over 11 years of experience in implementing and managing electronic health record (EHR) systems across a large and diverse agency. I lead cross-functional teams, gather and clarify business requirements and project objectives, and develop and maintain project plans. I also assign, monitor, and prioritize the work of software programmers, report writers, custom form developers, application analysts, and application associates. My core competencies include creative problem solving, project management, systems development, user training and support, quality assurance, and application customization and enhancement. I have successfully delivered the procurement of a new EHR system, ensuring stakeholders were appropriately engaged and informed about available options and features. I have also leveraged underutilized application features to significantly improve user experience and system efficiency. My mission is to enable and empower the applications team and the organization to deliver high-quality and cost-effective services to the clients and the community.
