About Kevin Boland

I am a Canadian Geologist taking my next career steps in the mining industry and expanding my professional network. I hold Canadian, European, and Australian citizenships and am flexible about where I work. My previous position as Drillcore Geologist predominantly involved drill core logging of a copper-gold-molybdenum, alkalic, porphyry deposit with diamond drilling in Northern BC (Canada). Previous to this, I worked various epithermal gold and VMS/porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum programs as a supervising and drill core logging exploration geologist in Northern Queensland (Australia). In Melbourne, my masters thesis focused on regional tectonics, thermo-geochronology and geochemistry of metamorphic units within an accretionary orogen setting in Timor-Leste. Through my Masters and Arup Internship, I gained competency in GIS/geochemical software and database compilation. I also have extensive geological fieldtrip experience within Western Canada and Ireland, and a natural passion for the outdoors. I intend to apply my evolving skills to the natural resource sector and assist in continuously improving the industry’s environmental stewardship. Whether it is remote or in the office, I am a happy camper!
