I am a dedicated and results-oriented Branch Manager in the AI & cloud space, an experienced management consultant and have a background in chemical engineering. I have worked extensively as a Data Solutions Specialist with comprehensive experience in the financial services industry - specialising in Digital Transformation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Data Science, Risk, Analytics, Modelling and Reporting. I am passionate about creating tangible solutions, learning new skills and working with talented people. I use my leadership and business acumen to excel in diverse teams. I have a proven track record in enhancing operational efficiency through advanced solutions and digitisation. I aim to leverage my curiosity and perseverance in order to drive impactful solutions and solve problems. I am highly effective, tenacious, and have a great deal of motivation towards any challenge I am presented with. I have a strong education from St John's College in Johannesburg (IEB syllabus) & the University of Cape Town - graduating with a BSc in Engineering in Chemical Engineering (2020). Additionally, I am in the process of acquiring the prestigious Financial Risk Management (FRM) professional designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP)- having successfully passed the FRM Part 1 exam. It is also particularly advantageous that I am comfortable to converse in 3 languages: English (native), German & Afrikaans (professional working proficiency)- whilst also learning Dutch. I have enjoyed the professional experience of working within Africa’s biggest banks. I have also worked extensively with global deal-making teams associated with Importer of Record (IOR) logistical requirements in order to drive business development in the AI & cloud infrastructure sector. Throughout my life, I have developed skilled problem-solving and have bolstered my technical toolbox, whilst honing my teamwork and leadership abilities. Ultimately, I believe that my education and professional experience have enabled me to be flexible and adaptable, whilst leading and performing tasks with confidence and optimism.
