About Kevin Boyle

Kevin is Manager of Capital Projects at the District of Muskoka leading a team of 4 permanent unionized, and 2 contract Capital Project Coordinators and will be supporting the implementation and completion of approximately 230 capital projects over the next 5 years with over $155 million in the next two years, working to refine our facilities asset management plans, condition records and division-based initiatives. Previously, Kevin was the Manager in the Continuous Improvement Unit for The District Municipality of Muskoka (DMM). In that role Kevin was responsible for harmonizing District and Area Municipal permit systems to accelerate Broadband installation across Muskoka, developing a regional workforce development strategy and regional job board, and assisting with Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Anti-racism work at the District. He also assisted with special projects for Senior Leadership, Prior to this role Kevin was the District first Climate Change Initiatives Coordinator and developed the District's first corporate adaptation plan, greenhouse gas baseline inventory, and flood plain maps. He also has written a number of successful grants including two for further flood plain mapping, and a grant to help five of the area Municipalities create a regional community and corporate adaptation plan.
