I am a seasoned Business/IT Executive, leader and strategist with more than three decades of experience covering regional & global leadership positions in Fortune 100 MNCs. These positions have included execution across the startup/ramp and sustaining phases of complex change programs from factory startups to global deployments of business capabilities. Colleagues tell me that I am highly effective at creating a vision/strategy and then driving action in a proactive and positive manner so both people and results can excel. I now run my own consultancy - CyberActive - focused on delivering breakthrough business results through such a proactive and positive fusion of people, business and technology acumen. Clients cover private/ public sector, in Ireland & beyond. I sit on several advisory boards - currently covering the range from tech startups involved with CyberSecurity & AI/Machine Learning to a regional body focused on the future of work & working skills. My roles focus on business strategy, product/market fit and creating business connections. I have always sought out extra-curricular leadership roles in the “soft” skills arena – long before it was popular! – and partnered with organisations such as Human Dynamics International and the Global Institute for Leadership Development to lead EI and soft skill programs at a global scale. Helping people & organisations to thrive is both a passion and strength.
