Hi, I’m Kev—thanks for stopping by. I like what you’ve done with your hair! I’ve spent over a decade helping people understand stuff. Complicated stuff. Stuff that makes them go, “Huh?” and then, with a bit of work from me, go, I get it.” I take big, complex, and messy ideas, untangle them, shape them, and turn them into something people actually want to engage with—whether that’s in learning, business strategy, or making organisations nicer places to work. My origin is as an Instructional Designer, Creative Strategist, and Copywriter, using behavioural science and creative communication to help some of Australia’s biggest organisations drive change, learning, and culture transformation. I've built a career around making it cool for people to care about things. These things have ranged from complex governmenty things, serious corporatey things, emotional awarenessy things, and heartfelt do-goody things. My central thesis has remained the same throughout: every piece of content has a common human narrative to tell. If there's a good reason for somebody to do something, then there's a fascinating and compelling way to suggest that they should do it. That's why I search for those memorable moments of fun and delight that I can inject to create a lasting impact. Over my career, I've worked with a mixed (but exciting) bag of clients. A little bit government, a little bit corporate, a sprinkle of health and wellbeing—a little bit country, a little bit rock ’n’ roll- The Serious People: The Queensland Government, The South Australian Government, The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, CASA, ADF - The Big Industry Players: Telstra, Aurizon, Santos, Mondelez, Incitec Pivot Limited - The Wellbeing Warriors: Beyond Blue, The Meg Foundation, Epilepsy QLD - The Innovators: Go1, Workboard, ViaUp, Purposeful People, Blue Ocean Strategy - The Tastemakers (literally): Cadbury, The Natural Confectionery Company (though they did make me print my own Golden Ticket) But what gets me out of bed in the morning (aside from very strong coffee)? I love the idea of creating something from nothing—taking raw, unstructured ideas and shaping them into something engaging, meaningful, and actually useful. In my "free" time, I'm a (gulp) mature-aged student studying a Masters in Business Psych. I’m obsessed with philosophy, psychology, and creativity, and I get giddy at the thought of working with inventive, forward-thinking people who aren’t afraid to try something new.
