About Kevin Browne

With over ten years of experience in outdoor education, recreation, and child development, I am an Early Learning Specialist at Social Enterprise for Canada, a non-profit organization that provides innovative and customized services to meet the diverse needs of communities. I hold a Bachelor of Adult Education degree from Brock University and worked towards an Honors Bachelor's in Early Child Studies from University of Guelph-Humber. Several certifications related to child health and safety. In my current role, I design and deliver engaging inquiry-based programs for children and families, tailored to their interests and needs, to support their development, learning, and behavior management. I also create a caring, stimulating, and inclusive environment, promote health and safety, and make appropriate referrals when needed. Additionally, I observe, document, and use data to plan programs and share knowledge with parents/caregivers, and I identify opportunities to provide resources and follow-up. I am passionate about fostering the well-being and potential of children and families, and I collaborate with team members and community partners to achieve this goal.
