About Kevin Burden

I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of work environments that have provided me with a diverse skill set. My work experiences include Municipal Law Enforcement, Security and retail/customer service. Currently, I am employed as a By-Law Compliance Officer enforcing the Durham Region Waste Management By-Law. In this setting, I professionally consolidate all Durham Region Waste Management programs under one single regulation, conduct investigations and uphold law/regulatory enforcement. I have also had the opportunity to work in the security field as an armored guard, hospital security, retail loss prevention, event and crowd control, and corporate security within the hotel/hospitality industry. These experiences have allowed me to develop superior investigative techniques, inspection abilities, interpersonal and administrative skills. Furthermore, I have a variety of professional customer service and retail experience in grocery, clothing, home improvement, and electronics. I have an excellent understanding on how visual merchandising and inventory control works and always represent the company brands and values. I am a professional, responsible and hardworking individual with an excellent work ethic that allows me to excel in all work environments.
