About Kevin Cabrera

I like working on system architecting, engineering and managing server resources. I wanted to be in a position where in I can make the right calls that contributes to the success of a product. Also be able to remove blockers from my teammates and teach them what I know and at the same time learn with them. In programming standpoint, I came from the common LAMP/LEMP stack. Now doing Serverless stack primarily in Cloud computing in AWS, Javascript/NodeJS/Typescript is my goto language at the moment. Automation using Shell/Bash and Python scripting is also one of my expertise. I do write a lot of configuration using YAML files, JSON files or can be as simple as utilizing UNIX environment variables(ENV). I've used this techniques to automate, scrape or to manage long running processes. All of these are automated either via VM, Docker or even CI/CD pipeline, you name it! First things first before we start working lets put the budget into consideration-) I do lots of reading during my spare time, and sometimes I participate in technical meetups to mingle with other developers. That's how I keep myself updated.
