Biomedical Knowledge • Familiar with general biomedical equipment technologies such as Weight Scales and measuring devices, Defibrillators, Infusion Pumps, Electrocardiography (ECG), Centrifuges and Electrical Safety in a healthcare environment. • Specialize in Seca medical scales and measuring devices including medical Body Composition Analyzers (mBCA), bariatric (684,674,664,644,634), column (703,769,707,700), flat (869,876,874,813,803), infant (374,727,728,334,354,725), and diaper & organ scales (856), as well as digital & mechanical stadiometers (284,274,264,216,217,213,220,216) along with connecting wireless products to Electronic Medical Records (EMR). • Perform & document biomedical equipment repairs as well as calibrating and testing all new & repaired biomedical equipment before it is put into use. • Perform & document scheduled maintenance, as well as electrical safety tests of biomedical equipment necessary to maintain conformance to code requirements. • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on progressively complex customer’s biomedical equipment and drive customer satisfaction through Service Excellence. • Evaluate the customer’s biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate solutions; as assigned, safety and environmental inspections and maintain effective customer relations. • Educate technician’s experienced and non-experienced on basic to more complex repairs until we arrive at a resolution.
