An Electrical Engineer professionally registered as a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia (CPEng) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (CEng) with significant experience working in Engineering Consultancy and Utility environments delivering high quality outcomes.I am currently a Senior Grid Transformation Engineer working for a large distribution network service provider (DNSP) providing technical and strategic direction for Distributed Energy Resource (DER) integration, grid stability solutions (minimum demand, emergency backstop mechanism, CSIP-Aus and under frequency load shedding (UFLS)) and delivering the Future Grid program of work. I have significant experience in electrical power system analysis and grid connection studies for both onshore and offshore electrical power systems with strong analytical, problem solving and numerical skills.Power system study experience includes steady state (load flow analysis, short circuit studies, cable ratings), dynamic transient analysis (fault recovery, motor starting, loss of generation/load), harmonic analysis, earthing studies, arc flash and protection studies for islanded and grid connected systems.Experienced in the use of various power system analysis software including PSS/E, ETAP, IPSA+, SKM Power Tools for Windows, PSCAD, CDEGS, and MatLab/SimuLink.Knowledge of relevant Australian, IEC standards and standards and recommendations.Experienced in Technical Report writing for clients.Experienced in completing electrical site surveys to obtain data for use in power system computer model development.
