I began my professional career in Information Technology in when I started working at Archiplan International, Ltd, an architectural firm in Schaumburg, IL. During my employment there, I did much to improve the working state of both their network, as well as their workstations and servers, including: Rebuilding/upgrading of all of the workstations and servers Revamping their local area network Cycling through several different SDSL & T1 ISP's and installations Re-working their website Configuring an FTP server for sharing of files with their consultants and clients And much more. As the economy slowed, so did the architectural field. I left Archiplan International, Ltd. in late 2009 and started my full time position at Warehouse Direct as one of their IT Administrators and Network Services Specialist. In late 2011, I found out I was becoming a father, so I made a decision to move from Warehouse Direct and into the MSP (Managed Service Provider) side of IT at TURNkey IT where there were more professional growth opportunities. Currently, I am Director of Operations at TURNkey and manage a team of eight technicians, as well as perform project planning and network design duties for our ever-growing client base.
