About Kevin Cordingly

While working at Laerdal Medical as a Subscription Support Specialist, it is my mission to help our educators, health system managers & health workers in leveraging technology’s full potential to remedy the health workforce gap. Reaping the benefits of rapidly changing technologies requires a robust technical support structure - a support structure which I am deeply proud to be apart of. According to the Center of Disease Control, heart disease is the leading cause of death for men, women, and people of most racial and ethnic groups in the United States. One person dies every 34 seconds in the United States from cardiovascular disease. These are more than just statistical measurements for me - they are part of my lived experience. In 2005, at the age of 47, my father suffered a sudden massive & fatal heart attack. Cardiovascular disease makes up 33% of preventable deaths (2.8 million), of which 84% were caused by use of poor-quality health services. The loss and grief my family suffered is an all too common occurrence. It is something that can be prevented. Knowing this fuels my deep resolve in delivering high-quality, cost-effective & scalable e-learning, virtual, & simulation product support. It's my goal to provide our healthcare workers & first responders the vital access to the tools & technologies to teach critical life-saving skills. I enjoy the challenge of finding creative solutions to complex problems & take pride in working together with a team of like-minded & passionate individuals all with a common goal to help save lives, together!
