Background
About Kevin Critchley
At the University of Leeds, my dedication to advancing nanoscience spans two decades, with a specialised focus on quantum dots and their applications in biomedicine and energy. Our team's research into nanomaterials aims to contribute to net zero solutions, with an emphasis on the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles for catalysis and solar cells. The external examination role at the University of Lincoln reflects my commitment to upholding academic standards in physics education. Collaborating with both academic and industrial partners, we strive to enhance biocompatibility and targeting through engineered surfaces, paralleled by a passion for developing fundamental scientific understanding and innovative software for analysis and control in research.
