Thoroughness & Attention to Detail In all my previous positions it has been essential for safety and operational reasons that great care is taken in all aspects of the job. This includes using the correct materials, parts and people for the task in hand. My latest projects are designing land rigs essentially from the ground up. Therefore there is a continuous need to make the correct decisions to complete the task correctly. High Motivation & Hard Work I have plenty of experience of living and working in relatively difficult conditions. This includes ships, offshore rigs and desert based land rigs. My previous jobs have been “hands on” sometimes dirty and involving heavy machinery. More recently my job has become office based but I still involve myself in the field- directly supervising critical jobs. People Skills My career has involved living and working with numerous nationalities/cultures with extended time spent in Algeria, Saudi Arabia, UAE, China and Canada. I have spent a considerable time training field personnel – in particular in the use of a rig computer maintenance management system.
