About Kevin Durham

Known for being a kind, compassionate music teacher and gifted pianist, Kevin Durham, has performed throughout the country. His talents have been featured on the University of Alabama School of Music's album “Hilaritas” and in an appearance as a featured soloist on the University Television Service’s Pianist at Work. Since moving to Nashville in 2006, he has served in various musical capacities teaching both children and adults. Kevin was only 18 years old when he began formal piano study at Stillman College (Tuscaloosa) on a full academic scholarship, earning a bachelor’s degree in piano performance in 2002. Since then, he has completed a master’s degree in piano performance at the University of Alabama in 2006 and is currently working on a doctorate in music education. Durham’s multi-faceted career also includes music ministry, songwriting, audio engineering, and work as a session vocalist. His vocal arrangements can be heard on “Then Sings My Soul: 24 Favorite Hymns and Gospel Songs,” the album by Grammy-winning country singer Ronnie Milsap. He has held memberships in local and national professional organizations such as BMI, MTNA, the National Federation of Music Clubs, the Nashville Fine Arts Club, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Mr. Durham has also presented workshops, lectures, and adjudicated piano festivals across the south. He has served on the music faculties of TSU, Nashville State Community College, Sweetbriar School of Music, Nashville Christian School and has volunteered at W.O. Smith School in his spare time. Currently serving in the role as a Training Pro - Creative at Apple, Inc, Kevin spends most of his time educating the local community about Apple products and connecting others with creative ways to use their devices.
