I am from Frankfort, Indiana and went to college in New Albany, Indiana (IU Southeast). I believe that all people hold value and that all people hold the potential to grow when given the resources/experiences. I have had to overcome difficult circumstances to grow and lead. I am a first-generation high school graduate, college graduate, and the first to earn my Master's Degree. I have worked in local government, as a special educator, a principal of an alternative school, and as a director for a non-profit housing individual with disabilities. Currently, I am the Associate Director for the Indiana Township Association. My position enables me to collaborate with elected officials to learn their roles and excel. I also get the pleasure of working with state agencies, legislators, and partners on matters that create more effectiveness and efficiencies in township government. I also get to serve my community as the Union Township Trustee in Clinton County, Indiana.
