Early in my career, I learned that it was not so much my aptitude but rather my attitude that would determine my altitude. Dealing with the news at any point in your life that you’ve just been laid off, or that your wife is pregnant, or that you have been diagnosed with cancer would be difficult news to handle. However, only 2 years into my career, my wonderful wife and I would be navigating through each of these life-changing events as they converged simultaneously on our very young family. Our new education in life was about to begin. While the devastation of dealing with these incredible life events felt profound, I soon realized that I needed to focus on what was within my control rather than on what was not in my control. Focusing on the stories of success and healing rather than the stories of failure and heartache. From Fitness Specialist to Relocation Director. The tapestry of my diverse career has been woven together by lessons of persistency, dedication, and the will to never give up, no matter what. This drive and determination have served me well in my current employment (since 2004) where I have served 17 of my 19 years as a Relocation Director / Project Manager. I am responsible for the success of projects from contact to completion. I secure and direct approximately 100 projects per year. Regularly exceeding ambitious top-tier quarterly revenue goals. I am knowledgeable in industry concepts of project estimating, development, management, and customer service. And am passionate about connecting with clients, designers, and contractors, extending a level of care and support that builds trust and confidence during a difficult and stressful life event – often caring more than others are willing to care and giving more than others are willing to give for the benefit of the client and the good of the company. Our life and career “profiles” are ever-changing, building, and growing. Every experience serves as a springboard to the next stages of our careers and lives. Each day is but a single moment in the tapestry of our lives, filled with learning opportunities, new beginnings, community, family, friends, and adventure.
