About Kevin Gilbank

Kevin Gilbank, Co-Founder, President and CEO has been leading a multi-disciplinary team at TERIC Power for nearly 10yrs and helping TERIC to become a market leader in Energy Storage in the province. Kevin has been a critical part of the origination, development, and execution of Canada’s (to date) largest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project within the AESO’s jurisdiction. Helping to bring this 20MW/35MWh project online in December 2020, and replicating several times therafter, he has helped TERIC become a significant player in energy storage systems. Over Kevin’s 20yr career, he has worked in the energy space from natural gas, power generation and most recently energy storage. In both start-up and large multinational corporation capacaties. Kevin has led teams of up to 45 engineerings and 400+ field based, and executed annual portfolios in excess of $400MM CAD. In addition, Mr. Gilbank has sat on several Boards as a Director, and been involved with not-for-profit fundraising at the community, provincial and national levels. Kevin’s true career passion lies in the start-up to scale-up phase, finding that critical point between technical and commercial opportunities.
