About Kevin Hernon

Hello there! I am an empathetic individual that thrives on collaboration and building strong connections. I have a strong passion with video games as I believe it is a powerful tool to connect and bring players closer together. I want to be in a producer role in the video game industry where I can facilitate, mentor, and effectively communicate with a variety of teams to produce the best quality product in timeframe allotted. With my skills and knowledge from my graduate degree in Business Administration from Seattle University, my background in Information Technology at the University of Washington, leadership skills from the Military, and my passion with video games, I can confidently manage a team to ensure we have the best mindset to complete our objectives. A few of my key achievements was taking an online game production course with Andy Johnson which I became certified through his program. I learned the fundamentals of what it takes to manage a team, create a roadmap, set milestones, mitigate risks, and deliver the final product on time. I also produced my very own video game in project management in under 8 weeks with a small team. I learned about Agile, creating a product backlog, creating sprints, and creating sprint retrospectives to figure our what went right, wrong, and what needed to be improved on.
