About Kevin Hunter

My interest in law began as a Fire Investigator for the State of Alaska. The job duties of a Fire Investigator repeatedly placed me in positions to help people whose lives had been negatively impacted. The skills, knowledge, and experiences that I acquired during that career inspired me to continue serving others that experience tough times. These skills also lend a different perspective that enable Holmes, Diggs & Eames to tailor its representation to the needs of its clients. This includes military families, since I am also a veteran of the United States Air Force. I completed my legal studies at South Texas College of Law. My undergraduate degree was obtained from Wayland Baptist University, with a specialization in fire sciences. While at South Texas College of Law, I was served the school as an Officer for the Board of Advocates, the leadership component of the country’s most decorated courtroom advocacy program. I was privileged to represent South Texas College of Law as a varsity advocate at national competitions such as: • Civil Rights & Liberties Moot Court Competition at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia • National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition at Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. During my time at South Texas I received a number of awards for his performance in the courtroom. I earned my Texas Mediator’s Certificate through the course work at the school. I have a unique blend of experience and skill which allow me to continue to aid people facing difficult situations in their lives.
