I had someone ask me,"Why are you a soldier?" My response was,"I am a long line of soldiers, I know where I came from and I take the path less traveled." I stand for the innocent and oppressed no matter race, religion; I trade my life for lives of others. I am a soldier; I understand to bleed for another is a noble path. I fight the good fight so many know no fear. Whom stand the line says no you will not do harm my country nor my brothers in arms. A Soldier, Airman, or Sailor who forgets Truth and Justice forgets Loyalty. A Soldier, Airman, or Sailor who forgets Fortitude and Commitment forgets Duty. A Soldier, Airman, or Sailor who forgets Posterity and Community forgets Respect. A Soldier, Airman, or Sailor who forgets Sacrifice and love forgets Selfless Service. A Soldier, Airman, or Sailor who forgets Discipline and Reliance forgets Integrity. A Soldier, Airman, or Sailor who forgets the Fallen and Injured also those whom served before them forgets Honor. A Soldier, Airman, or Sailor who forgets to stand up for the weak and the oppressed forgets Personal Courage. A Soldier, Airman, or Sailor who forgets Forgiveness and Equality forgets what it is to be a Soldier, Airman or Sailor and/or a leader. So Never Forget who you are A Soldier, Airman, or Sailor. I stand with all of you, and the only Hero's are those whom didn't make it home, we few we band of brother's and sister's just do our part.
